 FAQs

  • The Army is committed to looking after the soldiers of the Special Forces community, doing everything possible to meet their needs. However, because these soldiers are spread across the United States and not colocated, gaps in support can sometimes occur. The Soldier Fund steps in to fill these gaps, providing targeted assistance where the Army's resources may not fully reach. Our nonprofit offers personalized support, ensuring that no soldier is left without help, regardless of their location. By addressing these unique challenges, The Soldier Fund complements the Army's efforts and ensures that every Special Forces soldier receives the care they deserve.

  • Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in the military is often caused by exposure to explosive blasts, falls, or vehicle accidents, leading to a sudden impact on the brain. It can result in a range of symptoms, from headaches and dizziness to more severe cognitive, emotional, and behavioral changes. Military personnel are particularly at risk due to the nature of combat and training environments. Early diagnosis and treatment are crucial for managing symptoms and preventing long-term effects. TBI can significantly impact a service member's ability to perform duties and reintegrate into civilian life, making comprehensive care and support essential.

  • National Guard Green Berets are required to deploy at least once every three years, often spending 6 to 9 months downrange in high-risk environments. These deployments involve intense and dangerous operations, often in remote or hostile regions. During these periods, Green Berets execute specialized missions, including counter-terrorism, unconventional warfare, and training allied forces. The extended time away from home places significant strain on both the soldiers and their families. Despite these challenges, their commitment to national security and global stability remains unwavering.

  • At The Soldier Fund, you can choose to designate your gift to a specific program, such as financial aid, biohacking, or resiliency training, but it's not required. Whether designated or not, every donation will be put to good use, directly supporting our National Guard Special Forces soldiers. Your gift, regardless of its designation, will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those who serve. Even if you don't specify an area, your contribution will still provide vital assistance where it's needed most. Every donation helps us fulfill our mission of supporting soldiers through their most challenging times.
